1) How do I order cakes, cupcakes or gelatin desserts?

Please email us at info@tspspecialty.com, or call 718-779-1934 or 210-391-0917.  Our office business hours are Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sat-Sun 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EST).  If you receive our voice mail, please leave a message and we will respond as soon as possible.

 

2) Which payment methods does The Sweet Point accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

 

3) How far in advance should I order a cake?

Each cake requires a great deal of attention and several hours to complete.  We recommend placing your order at least one month before your event. If this is not possible, we will make every effort to accommodate last minute orders. 

 

4) Do you deliver locally?

Delivery is available for wedding cakes, and cakes that require on-site assembly only, unless special arrangements are made with us. Depending on the location, delivery charges may vary.

 

5) How do you ship your cupcakes and gelatin desserts?

We ship our cupcakes frozen with dry ice and gelatin desserts in special containers, and both are enclosed in specially designed packages to keep them safe along their journey.  The cupcakes should be frozen, cold, or cool when received.  Please allow the cupcakes to sit at room temperature for 3-4 hours before serving.

 

6) How will my order be delivered?

Our orders are shipped by UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air, Next Day Air, or 2nd Day Air.  Please inquire about our shipping schedule for additional information.

 

7) Can those with nut allergies or other food allergies eat our products?

We use eggs, butter, cream and flour in our baked goods.  Though nuts are not a part of every recipe, trace amounts of nuts or nut oils can be in any of our desserts.  We recommend those with nut allergies refrain from eating our cakes or cupcakes.  Our 3D gelatin desserts are gluten-, wheat- and cholesterol-free products.

 

8) What is fondant frosting?

Fondant frosting (also known as sugar paste) is a sweet, edible sugar dough that is applied to the surface of a cake to give it a smooth, porcelain-like finish.  We offer cakes in both buttercream and fondant frostings.

 

9) What are gelatin desserts?

Gelatin is a protein-rich, gluten-, wheat- and cholesterol-free product.  The gelatin desserts are made from fresh or frozen fruits, and specially designed for diet-conscious and wheat-allergic customers.
